335D Bodykit Question

Hi all -

I'm currently thinking about picking up a 335D as my next car. I don't think I can resist the torque!! I'll most likely be picking up a 2009 or 2010 and would like to add the m-sport front aero kit. The D will accept any body kits that a regular e90 will correct?

Both responses are correct. The OP mentioned wanting to add an Msport front bumper, so the first response is correct. The second response is also very correct - if the OP wants to add a different rear bumper, he'll need a bumper that has the urea tank hole.

Good job guys, you covered his concerns front and rear!

Oh contraire, the OP was asking about a "FRONT" m-sport bumper.

Do a search for e90 splitters. I got these for my non m sport D and they look a lot better than the m sport front bumper and they are a lot cheaper too. Good luck.

The OEM M Sport bumper prohibits a front PDC if you have the option. So if your car has it, then you couldn't put it on. unless you remove it and reprogram? Sell old front bumper for more with it?

Which is a bummer. The front is lower than the back and more susceptible to accidentally hitting parking blocks, driveway dips, curbs and corners. Plus, I'm more likely to be more pissed I did just a thing on my M bumper beauty.

I really wish M Sport could have a front PDC as well as back PDC.

After market? Seems odd not to include it?

there is a aftermarket M tech bumper with the PDC cutouts, there is actually a group buy currently too. check the vendor section of this forum.

I've attached 2 pics. One w/o splitters and the other with. I just used a combination of 3M tape and epoxy and they stuck on perfectly. Enjoy!

Very interesting - so does your entire side grill now have an opening (versus the partially blanked out factory grills)? That could be a real opportunity to people that want to run brake ducts.

Yes, both of the entire side grills have complete openings. Not sure as to why BMW made it the way they did from the factory. . It looks so much better now IMHO.
