No, it is at stock ride height. I guess it looks like it's lifted because it's so rare to see an E9x that hasn't been lowered. Unfortunately, because of the steepness of my driveway, it will have to stay at stock ride height.

No fear. I'd never own a Honda and the only 'Vette I'd ever consider is a '63 split window and they are selling way outside my budget.

Too Fast and Furious for me. I want a car that will blow the doors off of them and look classy while doing it.

Cracked the Front bumper up, curbed both drivers side wheels.. Could've been so much worse though, so I'm super thankful. Had a few extra things done while it's been in the shop. Hopefully have her back tomorrow 🤘🏼

I was meant to have a Lemans blue E90 when I joined the forum but the deal fell through at the last minute. For whatever reason the guy wouldn't send me a couple of photos that I asked for. He and the car were about 1200 kms away and with covid lockdowns in place I couldn't go see it. I ended up finding this car at a BMW dealership about 2k kms away, bought it and had them ship it to me. So I ended up with Alpine White. The colour was not a deal breaker for me. The bigger deal was the interior colour, anything but beige or red. After all, the interior is what you're looking at while you're driving it. Mine is Terra brown Dakota leather and it looks pretty good to me. I may change out the walnut trim for piano black or brushed aluminium (did I spell that right? ) at some point in the future.

Oh I see! Well sounds like something dodgy was going on with the Lemans so probably saved yourself a lot of trouble there.

I love the Alpine White tbh, I've seen a few on the forums and they always stand out. Brown leather also a massive bonus. Yeah the piano black would look great, something I'm hoping to do some time in the future too, or I was thinking of getting it wrapped in a suedey alacantra material?!

Hahah 'aloominum' isn't it?

Aloominum yes, now ya got it. Yeah that's what I was thinking, something fishy. He said he had the underbelly covers off so I asked him to send me a couple of photos of the oil pan and transmission. I was curious how bad it was leaking. I expected it to be leaking some, I just didn't want to see oil gushing from everywhere. Like you said, it's was probably for best. He was hiding something.
The only reservation I have about the piano black is keeping it clean and scratch free. My walnut trim is not too bad for now.

My brothers LCI sport came factory with the High gloss black trim (S4AT) and I'm surprised how clean they look. They don't scratch easy and unless always dusty; they look good

I saw that black and white in your mirror at about 6 minutes. I hope he didn't get you. You seemed to be stretching the speed limit just a bit.
I hate getting held up behind people that just want to look at the scenery and don't appreciate a good driving road. It can spoil a good drive.
Here's a video I took in '17 at the Nurburgring. I thought you might be interested. I'm driving an e92 M3.

Thanks for that. It may have just pushed piano black trim up the to-do list.

His has 200K on it and it looks like a lot less. I ceramic coated them as well just because I could.

PS Canada got the black trim on LCI Sport model cars so its around

It was a lot of fun but not cheap. I rented the car and got the 6 lap all inclusive pkg. It included the M3, 6 laps, gas, helmet and an instructor for the first lap. It cost about 1500 euros ($1800us). By the time you get the rental paperwork, the safety briefing and the laps done (with a short break between laps) the whole thing takes about 2-2.5 hours.
I highly recommend it if you can get there. It is nothing like any video game you've ever played. It's WAY better.
