Hey guys, last year i decided to leave school and pursue something I love, detailing cars for a living. At first it was hard just like starting any business is but now I have learned a lot and I am loving what I do. I wanted to share my detailing experiences you guys and show you some of the paint corrections I have completed as well as post some pictures of the cars I am lucky enough to be able to work on. Feel free to comment or PM me with any questions. Enjoy!

I will be offering discounts to all bimmerpost members for the month of May, pm me for details

Here is a 2015 Ferrari 458 I see Bi-weekly for washes. When this car came to us it already had a ceramic coating on it and the paint was flawless. I don't know about you guys but I absolutely love this Nardo grey with the yellow calipers. The owner is a super cool guy too

This is by far the longest I have ever spent in a single car but I think the results speak for themselves. The owner bought this F430 sight unseen from California and as soon as it was delivered he wanted it paint corrected and coated with Ammo Reflex.

Like most newer Ferrari's (Anything after the 355) the paint on this F430 was pretty hard and correcting the paint was no easy task. It ended up needing a 3 Stage Correction in the end but I think the results speak for themselves.

Ammo Reflex was then applied to the entire car including the wheels with a layer of Ammo skin over that for extra protection and gloss. The lighting in the warehouse wasn't ideal but it was better than nothing. Enjoy!

Not just your paint, buddy.

OP, congrats on the career change. Would love to start a detailing biz someday, but never had space to advance that avenue.

That's the beauty of Mobile Detailing, compared to opening up a brick and mortar shop the cost to get started is very low and you don't need much space. I started out with a Ford econoline van but because of the range that I currently cover 12 miles to the gallon wasn't cutting it so I switched to a Honda Accord and I couldn't be happier. 40mpg and it fits all of my equipment beautifully.

Mobile detailing is becoming very popular, look at guys like Larry Kosilla from Ammo NYC, he's one of the most well known retailers in the world and he no longer owns a shop because not only is it more profitable for him but often times it's a more ideal situation for the customer as well

We have used both Cquartz UK as well as Cquartz Finest which is a 4h. Most clear coats on most cars are between 2h and 4h so depending on your car either of these ceramic coatings will be just as hard as your clear coat. There are ceramic coatings that offer 6h to 9h hardness but the problem for me is that most of those coatings that are that hard often require some kind of baking under heat lamps and as a mobile detailer those aren't something that can really be carried around from job to job.

Out of all the ceramic coatings I have personally applied or come in contact with, my favorite has been Reflex by Ammo NYC. It is far and away the glossiest coating I have used and it also has that deep, wet look you get with carnuba wax that is often not seen in other traditional ceramic coatings

I have a defective clear coat on the top of my trunk. Would it be something you could make look better?

I can vouch for his work. I had him come out to do a premier detail with Ammo coating for my E90. He did a great job getting the swirl marks out of my paint, and brought depth back to the paint. The interior looked like factory when he was done with it. I wouldn't hesitate, he knows his stuff and stands by his word enough said. He is just as good as AutoNuvo and Northeast Detailing but gave me a better price and came right to me! Worth dropping him a line for sure!
