Spark Plugs upgrade which to use?
Hello All,
i have a 320i msport, saloon, 2010. Engine number: A854I548. Description: N43B20O0/125KW. I normally go online but they do not provide much model numbers/specification on the sparkplugs. I want to get the best ones i can get does anyone know which ones i can get? (or is it just best to go to the dealer as they have the best for my engine). |

I always use NGK. According to NGK's part finder, the correct plug for your car is ZKBR7A-HTU. There are no recommended upgrades from NGK. NGK's UK Technical Department recommend changing this model plug every 20,000 miles.

thanks I got them. I suppose is it good idea to replace the ignition coils at same time? Is there a recommendation on how many miles spark plugs and ignition coils be changed?

As I said before, plugs should be changed at 20K. Coils are not normally a service item and only need changing if they develop a fault. However if you want to change them as a precautionary measure, I suggest every 50K.

Done spark plugs and Ignition coils.
Spark-Plugs and Coils where NGK brand i tried getting the exact same ones but could not find them. So had to settle for EuroCarParts Bosch ones instead. Not sure if they any better or worse. Should i keep the working NGK ignition coils as a spares? can i mix and match them with the BOSCH ignition coils? |
