Vista BMW Email false advertizing
I received a spam email from David Hong stating:
"ALL BMW LEASE RATES HAVE JUST BEEN CUT IN 1/2 !!!!!" So I emailed him and asked what the rates where. He responded with this: "on the 135 the rates is still standard. 335 the rate is .00170. on the sedan the rate is .00085 all rates above are 2008's 135 the rate is standard 335 coupe is .00240 335 sedan is .00225 all rates above are 2009's" WHAT! These rates are higher than BMW's official 09 Oct rates! Typical car salesman thinking we are all oblivious. He should be reprimanded by his superior! In times like these there are STILL people out there trying to screw people over and make more for themselves. 08 rates came down for Oct. His numbers for the 09's are higher than BMW's. His email is David.Hong@vistabmw.com his contact number is 954-545-7913 Direct. |

I imagine they'll gladly work with you. Let them know what they're advertising. They probably just start with higher/older numbers as a negotiation chip.

Goes to tell you that a Non-BMW driver does not know about the security deposit required by BMW FS when you are first getting a lease and in order to get the security deposit waived, the money factor goes up.
Kinda sad that people are so distrusting in south florida. I'm from NJ originally and clients up there gave us a bit more credit / respect than south floridans who are used to dealing with client advisors who have no BMW experience or work for BMW but are order takers. Thank you supra for the negative plug and call me when you are ready to step up to a BMW. Cheers. Last edited by VISTA BMW 335I; 12-27-2008 at 11:29 AM.. |

My dad bought a 128i from David Hong himself and I don't have anything but positive things to say about him and the whole experience.
I emailed him for a quote and not only he gave us a bigger discount than the one he told us in the email, but he also included the wheel & tire package for free. The discount was $4500 off MSRP and we also got 0.9% financing. Not to mention that he gave my dad exactly what we were expecting for his trade-in (2002 MB C230 Kompressor Coupe). I give him 10 out of 10 out of the whole experience and I can guarantee that if I buy a BMW again I will buy it from him. |

You should go see Jerry Talcott down at Lauderdale Imports. Such an awesome guy, he helped out a young guy like me to get my car on my own. In fact, I approached him for 1 year before pulling the trigger and he did everything that he could for me. I drove him nuts but he never went crazy! Lol, where is my car Jerry, which boat, which dock, which train, which highway????
