Thieves at Irvine BMW!!!!

I am sooo pissed!!!! I got my car back on Friday from Irvine BMW for a simple Oil Change, Brake Flush and a quick look at iDrive from Irvine BMW. When I got my car back, my Euro Plate was stolen, they used about a 1/4 tank of gas, they changed my steering wheel position, all mirrors, seat and the CD player had moved through so many songs that it looks like they had it running idle the entire time they had it. Oh, and gas milage moved from 24 to 18!

DON'T GO TO IRVINE BMW!!!! THEY ARE THIEVES!!!!!!!

That's why I go to Sterling. Even though I got the car through Irvine I go to Sterling because 1) I like their service better 2) It's closer to my house

Next time you need your car serviced, come see me at South Bay BMW. I'll take care of your car the right way. The only thing is that I might have to move your seat and steering wheel as I'm 6'4" tall, and sometimes have difficulties getting in and out of customers cars.

Hey everyone I just wanted to give you an update on my situation with Irvine BMW. Yesterday I called them at 7 at 8 at 9 and at 10. I left messages for both the guy that helped me and the service manager. The manager NEVER called me back. I finally got a hold of the service guy at 10. He said that perhaps it feel off during the car wash and he'd check into it. At 12 I called again because he never called me back. He said that he hadn't gotten over the the car wash yet. At 1:30 he said that they had found it on Friday but that he couldn't locate it and perhaps one of the guys at lunch knew where it was. At 3:30 I called again, at 4 I called again. The service guy said that he talked to everyone and that they can't find it today. Basically he's sorry and there is nothing that can be done.

In the end what pisses me off just as much that they stole my plate off my car is that they have had NO urgency to talk to me, to return calls or to solve this issue. If they were truly apologetic they would have been in communication with me and done things quicker rather than waiting for me to call, call and call. I am appaled not only at Irvine for allowing this to happen but for their VERY poor service in dealing with the situation. I will be writing to BMW NA as well as speaking to the manager of the dealership.

Now the question is how could I get them to make it right. Assuming the plate is gone I think they only way is to have another euro style piece. I'm thinking perhaps a plate protector for my remaining rear euro plate so I can mount it on the front. What do you guys think?

Thanks all for listening and for your comments.

I went to Irvine BMW once, never again. The girls at the helpdesk were clueless and ditzy; useless simpletons. I wanted them to check out the infamous "brake noise" when traveling at a slow speed, they said there was none. Didn't want to waste my breath arguing with the stealership thugs so I left. Irvine BMW are scumbags when dealing with customers. They might sweet-talk to you, but the effort of actually doing something to fix the issue is minimal if not at all. IRVINE BMW SUCKS BALLS!!!

That really is awful. If you want to raise a really big stink, file (or threaten to file) a police report. Theft is theft.

Fuuny thing happened to me this last weekend there. I go on the lot, salesman walks over and engages me in typical what can I do conversation. I tell him I am buying a car from a family friend who owns a dealership in central California but want to see Monaco blue in person just to make sure and he turns and walks away. Doesn't say anything, talk about rude?
