Looks like a clean car if you don't mind pre-LCI styling.

It disappeared... showed up yesterday. it was a black 2010 XI 90k... cant remember the exact price but remember thinking it was well priced, it listed as a 6-speed but was clearly an auto though thats why I didn't dig much deeper.. if your looking for an auto might be worth calling the dealer to get more details

Folks,

I'm back from Navy duty and picked up my E91 night before last. Seller was a great guy, and the reason he sold it is that he has a new F31 sitting in his driveway.

Alas.. can't post pics. Is the threshold 100 posts before I can?

I love this car. Drives and shifts like a dream.

And now I can start posting ads I come across to this thread rather than trying to hide them for myself.

Good to know you are back and picked up the unicorn!

I kept going back to garage sitting in it when I first brought mine home!

As to uploading the pictures, Not sure if you are using the mobile phone or computer when trying to upload the pictures. The app on my iPhone simply crashed when I tried to upload pictures. Maybe you could try use computer instead!

Enjoy the ride!!!

Congrats! I'm wondering, has anyone compared E91 to F31 in M-Sport spec? Curious how different two cars really are.

completely different unless you are comparing Xdrives as the F31 is ONLY (sadly) avail in Xdrive and NO third pedal (at least here in the US when BMW N.A. seems to think they need to compete with Subaru)

X drive and the lack of a clutch pedal takes the "Ultimate Driving Machine" away from them ... sigh

F=longer wheelbase, longer body, heavier ...

F3x:

Wheelbase
F30: 2,810 mm (110.6 in)
F31: 2,810 mm (110.6 in)

Length
F30: 4,624 mm (182.0 in)
F31: 4,624 mm (182.0 in)

Width
1,811 mm (71.3 in)
Height
1,429 mm (56.3 in)
Weight F31

E9x:

Wheelbase
E90/E91/E92: 2,760 mm (108.7 in)
Length
E90/E91: 4,520 mm (178.0 in)
E92/E93: 4,610 mm (181 in)

I'll reserve my final judgement for that time, but at this point I can say that the entire buying experience was easy, and the people at Topsfield were very helpful. At the moment I'd give them a rating of: Highly Recommended (probably).
Just wanted to post a quick update on this. Everything checked out fine at the car doctor, and after jiggling a turn signal bulb I seem to have a problem free E91 that meets all my requirements for a car (awd, wagon, manual).

Here's a picture of it contemplating its future with my other wagon and sometimes race car.
Don't let the optics fool you, my camera was wearing a telephoto lens when I took the picture. The Volvo looks shorter in length than the BMW because it's parked much further back.

Final verdict on Topsfield: Highly Recommended. Buying a car from them remotely and having it shipped across the country was a pretty easy process. They said that they tend to look for low milage E91s, so I would stake out their website if I were still looking for one.

andrzejm Great to hear! Topsfield always seems to have manual E91s for sale at various price points. The green one they had recently was very nice looking. Congrats on the new ride!

Pretty far off on the weights. The E91 is ~3600 in its absolute lightest form (manual, rwd) and quickly runs up to 3800 with auto and awd.

The f31 only comes in one size; XL @ ~3800.

The F31 is lighter for its size, oddly. The E9x chassis was designed back when efficiency was an afterthought. Heavy little suckers!

Not super light, but they're not all that heavy either.
My 2011 328i RWD AUTO scaled at 3520 lbs.
Same car with full Msport 335i RWD Auto treatment came in at 3660 lbs.
I have to get the 6mt car on the scales still, but it should be under 3500.
