Question E92 320D m sport upgrade to 335D front brakes?

Hi,

Hoping to upgrade to 335 front brakes, seen several posts on here with conflicting info.

Looking for someone who has done it for clarification.

Is it simply the case of getting calipers, carriers and discs and bolting on?

I've seen some posts claim car needs reprogramming (highly doubt it) but just thought I'd double check before taking the plunge.

Finally, buying new Vs second hand opinions (models are getting older now so would be weary of seizing second hand calipers/ not arsed rebuilding).

Thanks!

Garage List
Pretty much yes all front brakes (non-M) are bolt on. Calipers w/carriers, rotors and pads. You can also get the 330/335 front dust shields which are also larger.

used isnt a problem as long as you go for more lower mileage ones and some that are less rusty/corroded(calipers/carriers); just inspect them before buying. Pads and rotors of course buy new.

Another question: do you plan to upgrade the rear brakes as well?

Forgot to say it is a 320D m sport! (Another reason I wanted to ask If can be done..)how does this affect ability to change brakes do you know?

No think I'll leave the rears, front do the heavy lifting anyways!
