I dropped my car off today at Global Imports. They gave me a 335i loaner but it's an AT and doesn't have ZSP.

Do you feel a big difference with the suspension? What are you getting done to the beast? Did you take out the Digital Vent gauge?

I always seem to get the same e90 328 as a loaner... I don't mind since it's MT and I get to have some fun.

Finally popped my HPFP cherry last weekend. Hopefully this one will go the distance since I have the software upgrade already.

What's the parking lot talk about? Get together photo shoot or something?

I feel more of a difference in the fact that the loaner doesn't have Active Steering. The steering is stiffer and I have to turn it a lot more which feels weird. Also, the skinny steering wheel and non-bolstered seats aren't that great.

The car is just getting an oil change and I asked them to look at a few issues such as a crunching sound when I press the clutch pedal in and a clunk sound when braking.

I left the boost gauge in because my SA knows about it. I met a guy a few months ago who was the valet at Cheesecake Factory who saw the gauge and told me that he works at Global Imports and that I could just let him know when I'm coming in and he'll take care of things. I saw him last time I took the car in but I had already turned the power to the gauge off and it confused the tech and the SA... they said, "we didn't know what that button was." This time, I didn't see the guy but I told my SA that I have a boost gauge and he said, "we know and it won't be an issue... just make sure you don't get those piggybacks in your DME." Just as a precaution, I always take my JB3 and DCI out.

not much man. was heading up to Zdayz today (tail of the dragon with a bunch of 350z's and g35's) and i got a nail in my RFT.

Even though im selling it soon i decided to go with Sumitomo HTR Z III's 235's in the front and 265's in the back. Hoping it feels a little better and i should still be able to head up there tonight

Posted inaccurate info. Dragon was closed for a rock slide but has reopened on a 8a-8p basis and is only accessible from the NC side.
Sounds like a good time to go, as traffic is light but "the man" is out in force so be careful.

Tail of the Dragon kinda sucks now ever since it got popular cops have been rampant. Caesars head (up by Greenville) and the lesser known roads around there I've heard are better.

And I know your pain Dalton... those RFTs aren't cheap.

For twisties, the North GA Loop (60 - 180 - 129) is fun, and close enough for an afternoon trip without killing your whole day. Lumpkin County cops & GSP can still be sneaky up there though...
