I am fairly new to E90 Post and noticed this Utah thread. I have a few aftermarket wheel questions...hope you guys can help me out. But first a few details:
My car is a 2009 E92 335i xDrive, Alpine White. I currently have the all-weather sport wheels, 17", v-spoke style 188. I don't intend on lowering the vehicle. I intend on using the 17" wheels for winter driving. I am looking at 18s and 19s now for summer specific wheels and have narrowed it down to two wheels: Forgestar F14 or Alufelgen SF-71. -Does anyone here own these wheels or wheels from these wheel companies? Does anyone you know own a set of these wheels? If so I would like to see your car! -What is everyone's impression of 19" wheels (using 35 and 30 series tires for front and rear, respectively) on Salt Lake roads? -What is everyone's take on using a 19" wheel on an xDrive car with standard suspension? Does the wheel well gap look bad on an xDrive? Should I just stick with 18s? Any suggestions would be helpful! Thanks! |

I'll be at C&C too, hopefully the weather holds as I don't plan on putting the winter shoes on till late Saturday or Monday.

Who put them on?
And as far as the wheel questions. I run 19" VMR 710s in the summer...think they're the same design as the SF-71s. 19s can be a little rough and look like the right size for the car...just gotta be careful for the potholes. I'm also on springs though... Didn't Jeff have the F-14s on his 1er?

Nice!
WHO did the suspension install??? I've been looking for someone qualified in this mod-challenged state or over a year now. Ugh!
