This is just the torrent file, once you have this file you need an application such as utorrent to initiate the download of the actual DVD image file.

good luck!

man whoever put that torrent up didn't compress the file. It's going to take like 2 days to download. Does anyone have the file by any chance and wants to compress and send over aim?

What am I supposed to do once the files are downloaded? I extracted them and got 5 folders (config, db, dbal, telemat, tpd) and 3 other files (cdrom.toc, files.cfg, INFO_MAP.TXT). Any help please? I have a 2004 M3 and I just burned all these files to a blank dvd and my car told me that it was an invalid disc.

most likely it is an .iso file. meaning to have it read correctly yo need a program like "alcohol 120%" to mount and burn the dvd. after that you should be good to go

I tried burning the files with imgburn, which I heard was also a program that burns iso files, but it didn't work. Maybe it's the way I'm going about doing it? Is there a special procedure, or do you just add the files in like any other burning program and start burning?

The alcohol program did a search for iso files, and the one that it found i burned, but it still didn't work. I get the same error message on my navi screen when I put the disc in.

Is this disc even supposed to work for my 2004 M3? It doesn't seem like anyone has anything other than an e90/92 here.

No it won't, 2004 is an E46 not E9x. I suggest you go to an E46 forum for NAV updates.

Too funny...I posted the above on 4/7. This morning I get in the car and I'm greeted with a "new DVD firmware is available, turn off the car for at least 5 minutes". Glad it took less than a year for the car to notice!

thanks for posting this. Worked like a charm. I'll be seeding this torrent for at least the next 6 months.

Does anyone know where I can grab the 2008.2 North Amercia Nav DVD?

Alright folks, it seems you have a problem downloading the disc. So, here is it, download this file BNA081.RAR , don't worry about the file size, it's 7kb only.

Now go to http://cryptload.info/download/ and save this software, some anti-virus clients MIGHT tag it as virus/spyware or whatever, it's not true. It's a very safe program used to download files from rapidshare.com , uploaded.to and so on.

UnRAR that small 7 kb rar file and you will get a bna081.rsdf file

Open CryptLoad and LOAD/OPEN that file in it.

I recommend you to get a premium rapidshare account http://rapidshare.com/premium.html , this way you won't have to wait between downloads.

If you already have a RS Premium account, set-up your CryptLoad client first with the RS Premium account info, in the upper right corner of the screen , the last button in CryptLoad is for Settings, you will find there where to put the account info or read this tutorial here http://www.wiki.ccf-board.de/tiki-in...page_ref_id=44

The disc has been splited in 100 MB archives so that rapidshare will take them. Nobody will be able to see the complete links to report them, thanks to CryptLoad and this disc will be up there for a long time Now you don't have to worry about seeders.

I usually get 1 MB/s from rapidshare servers.

UnRAR those 45 files to get the original ISO file and burn it as you've read previously.

If you have any questions, let me know

Oh, one more thing

I've mounted the disc with UltraISO and opened the CDROM.TOC file

It seems the database of the disc is 2007.1 though the disc is labeled as 2008.1 and it was released in Feb 2008. So BMW & NAVTEQ are cheating selling outdated maps
