Carly for BMW Question

I have a 2007 335i Sedan (12/2006 build date). I figured out how to code it for the corner light delete (had to turn off side markers too), but the one thing I would like to do and can't figure out is how to code the car to leave my Corona Rings on all the time as DRL's.

Has anyone been able to do this?

Thanks

This should be posted on coding section.
But as you question: no.
To do what you want you need to change your frm for a frm2 or 3

^^^ this is correct. You have too early a model to code AE DRL's. You need a revised FRM (2 or 3).

Thanks guys, that's the same response I just received from Carly support.

My next question, to update my FRM to FRM2 or FRM3, is this a hardware or software update?

Or you can use this http://www.distantxtremes.com/daeos-...y-harness.html . I cannot vouch for whether it works or not but I had the same desire as you so it is in the mail. I can update you on how it works in a few days when it gets here and I install.

UPDATE:

Just put it in, took about 20 minutes and seems to work perfect!

Just know you will have to do some minor wire splicing for install. Having no background with that stuff, it was still no problem but just FYI. Not direct plug and play.

That's not a problem for me at all. Thanks for the heads up though.
