BMW N62 engine table

Yes that's a bottle of wine in there. Fits perfectly!

Made this for a good friend of mine as a birthday gift. Took a little over 6 months but mainly because I had someone else do pretty much all of the work.

Block was $400 shipped. It's from E60 645i, ebay auction is still up for it here. I was looking at old V10's out of e39 but they are hard to find and a bitch to ship/handle.

Supplies on my part were so far $520 for the legs and stuff, plus few dollars for the guy that was making it, so it's easy over $1000.
Pics of process.

Oil squirters will be a perfect wine bottle holder!

GF's cleaning the glass

Nothing's secured yet, the glass holders are a little off.

Nice. I plan to do it with a cheaper engine. No one will notice if it is a normal 302.

This is awesome for a BMW fanatic. I've seen V12 Ferrari engines used as well.

That's amazing. Now I want to make one. I wonder if I can find a nonfunctional N54 at a junkyard...
