ECS Tuning Vent Boost Gauge
Hey guys,
Just wanted to share my experience with ECS Tuning thus far. I have really wanted a boost gauge, as I thought it should have been included from the factory. I wanted analog style, I wasn't really feeling the digital look at all, although that application does fit in the vent much cleaner. I was looking at the options offered by Turner and ECS, and I hopped onto the ECS website only to find the gauge kit at 40% off, with free shipping! It seems like it is exaclty what I was looking for, although I couldn't really find any reviews on this forum... Ordered it yesterday afternoon, shipped out within a few hours, and is scheduled to be on my doorstep tomorrow. That is blazing fast, I am impressed by that. I'll post my impressions once I get it in hand. |

That sound interesting! Post up pics when you get it installed. I just installed the P3 vent gauge a couple of days ago and like it. Didn't know there was a possible analog version available.

ECS Tuning is a fantastic company. They started their business by catering to VW/AUDI cars and then expanded on. They are well know for their quality brake lines and brake kits for VWs.
I also checked out their vent gauge and I was not that impressed. It looked made out of flimsy plastic and the actual dial of the gauge was too flashy and ricey to me. I wonder if any vendor here offers a discrete A-pillar gauge pod WITH headliner material...

Correct...the problem is the refresh rate for that part of the screen is too low to be of any real use
