JB3 Map3 slow response from 0?

I have recently installed JB3 with DCI running on Map3 on my 2007 335i. One of the main reasons I got a mod was because I was not happy with the pedal response. However, after installing it, I am still not satisfied with the results.

I've upgraded to the latest firmware, but do not see big difference. I just need your opinion if this is the way it's supposed to be or there is something I could fo to fix it.

Basically, say I wait at traffic light, it runs at 600 rpm, then I floor it, it slowly increases to ~2500, and then it really kicks. So what bothers me is this almost 2 seconds delay in the beginning. Maybe that I am expecting too much, but I want to be able to change lanes while sitting at a traffic light without the possibility of another car hitting me due to the slow response.

I've uploaded a couple of videos, let me know what you think (sorry for the shaky video, I was holding my BB in my hand).

Thanks.

Are you in "D" mode, or "DS", or manual? If you are in d or ds mode you are starting in second gear. You have to manually shift it into first.

For highway passing, just pop over to ds mode. Ds mode is a more agressive than d mode. I only use d mode when im cruising. If i nee to pass i pop to ds mode and floor it.

Did you turn off your DTC traction control?

If you want faster pedal response increase the pedal target user adjustable.

D mode. So you are suggesting to use the paddles? I'll try that. I was hoping the response would be good even in "D" mode.

I've tried with DTC off, but the results were the same.

I currently have lagfix at 100 and pedal at 65. I have some logs from my previous settings (lagfix at 80, pedal at 50). Here:

In d mode you start in 2nd gear. That is why you have the delay. Put in manual mode and try in "m1"

The 65 pedal target number I told you to use in my email is my preference upper range but you can definetly go higher. Try 100 and see what you think. Also if you are in d then you are starting in 2nd and there will always be a delay.
