Where do you take your car for service

Out of the dealerships in our area, which dealership is best and easy to deal with in the NOVA area?

Sterling BMW...

Talk to Ted the SA and Shane the tech.

I used to go to Peter, but since Peter split and Shawn Peace went to the Mini side, Ted is the guy.

Pat and I see Ted...well, Pat sees him. I haven't gone yet since Peter left.

Sterling BMW...FTW

  • Arlington - For convenience for those inside the beltway
  • Tischer - if you're there, pick up some nice gifts for your ride (place order through their ONLINE store at getbmwparts.com for good deals); one of the advisors or maybe several jumped from VOB to Tischer.

Bought my car from BMW Fairfax, but heard horror stories about their service department. I take mine to BMW or Alexandria and both SA's I've had have been awesome. Service is prompt and I get a loaner without any hassle every time

heard bad things about all the bmw dealerships in the nova area. but go talk to sam at bmw alexandria. he's not one of those salesman that tries to bs or swindle you. he'll know about the cars too and be straight forward. unlike some salesman that just look at those dollar signs.

despite all the nay-sayers, I still go to BMW of Fairfax.

I guess I'll continue to do so until they cross me...so *knock on wood*

I have a good relationship with my Service Adviser, and a trusted senior M mechanic that works exclusively on my car for major things, or when I request so (I just arrange a time that his schedule has cleared up, or they'll hold my car for him)

Dropping off at BMW of Alexandria on Wednesday for routine service. I had a previous good experience with them on routine maintenance.
