The info was from nate5ks here on the forum. I may be mistaken (I'll admit that I've seen lots of posts, but none actually confirming a successful N52 flash), but from what I've heard, the only difference is in the mechatronic (assuming your N52 has the ZF trans and not the GM). Post 05/2007 ZF-6HP19/21s had an upgraded mechatronic--the same one as the 335's. I had a complete overhaul on my trans including a brand-new mechatronic from ZF.

You're wrong. I did vertucaj's car, with paddle shifters, and the second part of the DIY worked exactly as described.

Now, since you're the ONLY person that's saying it doesn't work, would you care to tell us why you think you're so special that you don't have to follow the instructions that are given?

Just wanted to say thanks cn55ic!
Flashed back to the stock tranny flash for shits and gigs and your DIY worked perfect step by step. I feel pretty confident in flashing back to the Alpina when the time comes. -Nick |

Just wanted to post a little review of my Alpina flash & electronics coding that cn555ic did for me.
I contacted him Aug 31. about doing some coding and within minutes he got back to me. He did the coding remotely which was very convenient because it saved me a 2+ hour drive to NY. The whole process took less then 1.5 hours (40 min for him to set up your laptop and about 30 min for him to transfer everything into your car). He is EXTREMELY knowledgeable and works around your schedule (I had college night classes but he had no problem waiting until I got out and doing it at 9:00pm). As far as the Alpina Flash goes, immediataley I felt a HUGE difference. My transmission is 5 times smoother and the DS/S mode is much more fun to use. All the electronic adjusts he did are great as well. Just one example is now I have a digital speedometer! Overall, I would definitely recommend anyone who is able to get the Alpina Flash/ other electronics coding done contact cn555ic because it is absolutely worth it. |

Just did the Alpina flash on my car. Followed the instructions and it worked perfectly. Paddle function is back after doing Part II of the DIY.
Cn555ic, you're the man.
