Could someone look at their e92 headlight projector?

I recently blacked out and installed my new halos in my headlights. Now the projector lens is not centered in the shroud (same on with side). Both are off towards the middle of the car. I don't remember how they looked before.

If someone could snag a pic I'd be greatly appreciative!

my thought is "why would bmw not have the resting position centered?"

When I done mine a while back had the same, can kinda see in this picture lower headlight looks of to the right ?

It's still weird that it wouldn't be centered.
With that said, I'm glad I painted the lens holder black, it disappears now
