This is what I did but I am not AWD. The only issue I ran into was that the car almost wasn't high enough to allow me to pull it through before hitting the ground.

I'm not proud to say it took me 28 hours from start to finish to get mine in and running. It was down for a little over a week as I waited for parts.

Glad to hear I wasn't the only one. Next week I am going to do the install in reverse. I doubt it will take me as long.

Wow, after reading this it makes me glad I paid someone else to do this for me. But I admire those of you who did it yourself. Definitely an awesome mod either way!

Added race videos from No Fly Zone last weekend! Also a minor update on DV installation tips.

I cannot up the boost for a few reasons. I do not have the M3/M4 flywheel installed, I am on stock clutchpacks (although this may or may not be required for 22psi. Newguy started seeing some slip around 23 psi on stock clutches), and I am not running port injection. I am running 100% meth, so I may be getting some fueling from it. But I wouldn't run 22 psi spraying through the charge pipe. I would either get Meth PI or hopefully upgrade the HPFP if an upgrade is ever released.

I raced the same supercharged M3 earlier in the day and lost by 6 or 7 cars. But once I got the tune dialed in, I gained about 8 mph from when we ran. I believe I could have beaten him or been right next to him if we ran again. He said his car put down 590 to the wheels. I know my car isn't close to that and I am pretty sure newguys isn't making that much power as well. We need to get on the dyno at some point to see what sort of power we are making. PS2 and DCT is just a great combo IMO. The results seem to back that as well.

houtan, what rpm did your car go into limp mode? I have been beating my head against the wall on a similar thing at around 5500 rpms. No codes, just a drop in power to limp, with DSC indication on my dash. Resolved by restarting the car. As I was previously getting misses, which seems to have now been cleared up with plugs, gap and coils, I originally attributed this oddity to the misses. I am running Pure Dos, PI, and all the necessary supporting hardware.

My car is DCT so it's a little different I think, but when it would happen it was usually around 5900 rpm, log is perfect so I think there is a limiter that I am hitting that is telling the DME to throw a code. This happens above 21 psi though. Didn't you get your tune from twisted? Is that the tune you are hitting limp mode on?

Also, what intake are you running? If it’s stock the stock rubber coupler could be collapsing when you get into boost. Happened on two cars I know of. If your running a spacer plate for pi and the stock intake pull that coupler one extra rib over. It’ll look funny but it’ll stop it from collapsing once the engine bay gets warm.
