We had to scan the block and write our own program for the CNC machine to properly machine the sleeves for our application.

I was watching these videos about 6 months ago and it reminded of this thread.. watch the whole 4engine build video.. all applicable to n52 but with aftermarket turbos, this is the correct turbo build (doing it right). Still all very similar paths it seems!!!! Excuse the music😂

-Coated pistons
-After market Rods
-Boring with a torque plate to replicate the head installed.
-Cooling the pistons before install

I personally don't know what I'm looking at. But I love it. And I can't Wait to read what people who know what they're talking about talk about this.

It's so satisfying to see those clean internals... A work of art. Excited to see where this takes the platform

Thats ok, if you go back in the later pages we took a N52 block and made it accept sleeves and installed H-Beam connecting rods and forged pistons. This will make the block stronger and be able to withstand 500-600rwhp on boost.

Here is a link to another post to show what happens when you are producing 500-600rwhp with stock internals: https://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1541216

We are in the early stages of beefing up the block and internals so that we can take the car road racing, be competitive and reliable in those conditions all while being turbocharged.

Any reason why the intake and exhaust valves weren't oversized or in the class that the owner's running this car in BMWCCA doesn't allow it?

Wow beautiful and quite impressive. Glad there someone out there giving the n52 some love. Definitely wanna keep mine as a project in the future instead of my daily and hopefully by then something like this will be more accessible to the public. Good luck! I'm always creeping and reading trying to learn and you guys are the real deal. Saving pennies for your tune

Sorry for the lack of updates recently just got married and was on my honeymoon, since I was gone I wasn't around for a lot of the progress so there may be a gap in photos that I wont have and I apologize about that. It may take me a day or two to get things caught up on when I wasn't here.
