where did you buy them from. It looks like some people keep them in stock built. If so do you know of a reputable dealer who keeps DSS axles? maybe here...

I got mine back a couple weeks ago. Robc1976 is doing the install. They look amazing. I highly recommend DSS. I purchased mine directly from them. I'm working with Frank right now on a carbon fiber drive shaft...

DSS is upgrading my axles right now. They told me that their CF driveshaft was not yet available even though they have been talking about it for awhile. They were waiting on a special tool. How were you able to get them to do one for you? Custom?

If you speak with Frank (the owner and major car enthusiast himself) he will tell you that he is working on making one right now. Once it is tested and is acceptable, they will become available for the general public. I'm not sure what the ETA is but I plan on speaking with him soon. Once I find out I will let you know.

The axles are $999. There isn't a price on the 335i carbon fiber driveshaft yet as it's not finished.

For the pair right? Is it better to get axles first?

Yes, it's $999 for the pair of axles. There are guys breaking them at FBO levels so I would start with those. When you swap out the turbos I would consider a driveshaft. The last time I read about one breaking, it required not only a new driveshaft but also a new lsd.

How far are you from Salisbury? If I lived in NC (and was fairly close) I would drive over there and have Frank put axles and a driveshaft in today!

I think they are getting very close to finishing up the driveshaft...

I hope you are right. Here is what they have been telling me:

8.2.2014 - "We are working on this now. Should be 2-3 months"
1.4.2015 - "Tool had to be re-worked. Should be 5 more weeks."
2.27.2015 - "Sorry - tool still now back yet".
