Fresh plugs and coils. I found that the eldor coils I have been running and recently had one die are no longer available. Delphi are the recommendation from BMW again and they are now warning about mixing coils in the n54. On a side note, the m3 strut brace retrofit really does make coil and plug changes easy!

hood is trash
rust bubble starting on the fender from the winter.
bumpers both need repainted.
previous owner was not into parking without hitting shit.
this year is beautification.

Long day.... Valve cover gasket, ofhg gasket, vanos oil line and then new rotors and pads on the mother in laws vert.

Then got MHD loaded up on the new Fire 7 tablet so I now have a dedicated tablet for monitoring/tuning. Phone can be used for Waze/Naviagion/Find speed traps again. Fellow member here is working on the mount for this with his 3d printer.

Went on a twisty mountain road drive up near Helen, Ga with some friends. Car handled amazing considering its on 155k mile front suspension & some random shocks and springs in the rear.

Havent hit twistys in forever and forgot how much fun it is. Best day ive had in a while.

Definitely planning on getting new shocks, struts & springs soon though. Cant wait!

Every time I drive that car, the memories of my 2003 330i and 2003 m3 come back. The instant torque, the steering, the handling. Just the way the car feels. It is a privilege to be able to drive the vert pretty much whenever I wish.

Picked up some used parts! Paid $300 for a Forge FMIC, GFB DV+, a HPFP with 30k miles, Delphi coils with 10k miles, fuel injectors to have as spares, and an N20 TMAP sensor! He also threw in some vanos solenoids as well.

Just need to find an N55 downpipe now!

Installed new headlight bulbs. Super easy job took about 10min total to disassemble and put back together
