Tcu/Mulf to Combox
I have a question about the antenna connections.
On Tcu there is telephone antenna (black in the label) and emergency antenna (violet on the label). On the Combox there is GMS antenna and GMS back up antenna. Do I plug in the antenna cables from the Tcu into these two? Combox is asking for dual antenna plug but if I strip the plastic tabs from the Tcu antennas they would plug in. Or I don’t use these connections at all? I know about the Bluetooth antenna cable, both are beige color. Also the GPS cable (blue on the label) I have it plugged into the cable I ran under the carpet from the CIC. My 2008 335i E90 was non I-Drive. I removed all these parts from 2013 328xdrive e92 and did CIC retrofit 2 or maybe 3 years ago and just coming around of finding time for the Combox lol |

For a combox retrofit, only the BT antenna and USB need to be connected. These are the white and black connectors on the left side. Most combox were built for the older 2G cellular network which no longer works. Thus all the other connections serve no purpose.
