Need new front tires: 255/30/19 or 265/30/19 up front on a 19x9.5 +33 rim??
Need new front tires.
I am currently running Goodyear Eagle F1s 245/35/19 on a 19x9.5 et33 rim in front. It rubs a little too much for my liking. I put a 3mm spacer on to clear the strut, but the tire rubs on the outside wall under heavy compression. 235/35/19 has worked for me in the past but I don't want to drop down a size. The car already understeers enough during autocross events. I run the M3 control arms so have a little more camber than stock, but I am definitely nowhere near -2.0 Anyone running a 255/30/19 or 265/30/19 in front? I could only find this guy running the 265/30/19 in front. He claims no rubbing... http://www.e90post.com/forums/showpo...1&postcount=15 Both tires would be shorter (less tall) by at least 1/2". I am not sure if that is enough to make up for the extra width of the tire and the fact that it won't be stretched as much, which probably keeps me from rubbing on the fender wall more than I already do. Thoughts? |
