FS: RWD ST Fixed Damping Coilover Suspension Strut Spring Assembly
Great shape, pulled from a California car so no rust. Less then 5k miles on them. Paypal invoice for payment. Normally can ship out within 24hrs after payment.

So do you use the stock ones?
Also, are the shock bodies threaded/ does adjusting height affect ride quality? I know of the KW's but am just now learning about the ST stuff. |

depends how much you lower the car, but most cases yes its best to have adjustable swaybar links so there isnt alot of preload on the swaybar, also might need adjustable toe arms for alignment. the springs are linear, so height doesnt make difference on stiffness. ST & KW pretty much same thing, if you email ST support it will be KW that will respond - just confirm with them based on your model and desired ride height.

I'm trying to figure out if these are okay to put on a 128i. Most suspension setups for the e9x and e82/88 have the same part numbers, but these have different part numbers between 128i and e9x. I emailed ST and they said they're similar but the rears are infact different. He didn't specify how though. My guess is that they're valved for a heavier car. Since these don't have adjustable dampening I don't know what that means running them on a lighter rear end.

ST Coil Overs
If it is any help I have an E90 (sedan) 328xi. I have the ST suspension and I think it is great on both smooth and marginal roads with both a full load and empty. I am pretty sensitive to harshness and NVH having done "too much" on other cars. I believe the rear springs are linear (fronts are progressive), but you could potentially substitute a softer spring from Swift or Hyperco if you were't happy.
