Hi guys, I have a E90 pre LCI which I has been parked up for 2 years in my driveway. I have recently started the car up again and the idrive system is super slow and not responding as it should and the scroller just keeps spinning or locks when it wants and won't select what I have chosen on the menu etc.

Any of you guys come across this before?

I would check your battery voltage just to get that out of the
way. Measure it and report back.
You might try putting a full charge on the battery .
I am kind of surprised it even survived that long of non use
period.

Just purchased a new battery as the old one was weak. I will get back to you and let you know if it's solved my problems once I've fitted it.
