service requirements
In my 08 E92 328i's owner's manual I see the following items listed as what you should see when you scroll through the "service" section of your non-iDrive computer. However, a few of them are missing on my 328i. Specifically: 4,6,7.
Does anyone know why? Thanks in advance. -A ---------- 1 Button for selecting functions 2 Service requirements 3 Engine oil 4 Exhaust emissions test* 5 Roadworthiness test* 6 Microfilter 7 Spark plugs 8 Front brake pads 9 Rear brake pads 10 Brake fluid The sequence of displayed service items may vary. The data for the next service appointment is shown first. More information on the BMW Maintenance System can be found on page 115. |

These were phased out of CBS. #4 can be re-enabled by a dealer, #s 6 & 7 are "coupled to a multiple of oil service" (paraphrasing)
This came up in the maint. forum a couple of weeks ago. |
