PCV & Catch Can

I'm looking at installs for different catch cans. Turner, BMS, and ECS.
All three look to do the same thing, in the same way. But ECS directions show installing a plug in place of the PCV valve. Any input on plugging vs. installing an upgraded PCV valve?

You want to look into a low side catch can instead of the ones your mentioned. Rob beck has one...there was also a new one advertised here a few months back. I don’t know much about that one though. Search for external pcv...

BMS has a high and low side solution that is pretty clean.

I'm really just curious as to why some use the plug, some use the PCV valve.
