Well he gave me all accurate dates for CA's departure and estimated arrival, so I'm assuming he's not pulling my leg. He says they should be unloading today/tomorrow, and that the car should be at the dealership by Weds/Thurs of next week.

OK, according to BMW's computers it is due to dock today at Oxnard. The next update he'll get is when it's been scanned as arrived at the VPC. So it could very well be that BMW's computers aren't updating with the delay through the canal, and I've just jumped the gun.

I got this message from my CA:
When I give you a call saying it will be one or two days more, you can start planning what time to pick up the car. I will make sure as always when a client's car comes in to grab both keys so no "test drives" happen except-when the tech needs to drive it at least 2 miles for the PDI. No license frame will be placed upon the car, floor mats will be inside, full tank of gas, full detail and me waiting for money inside the showroom! Call you next week to schedule the time. |

We have been watching the AIS radar maps all day. CA hasn't arrived in the SoCal area. She's running late. I am sure BMWs computers are just behind and aren't reflecting the delay at the PanCanal. Today was her original date of arrival at port Hueneme.
She's due into San Diego at 20:00 on Saturday 4/26, and then the port of LA at 23:00 on Sunday 4/27, then port Hueneme on Tuesday, April 29. |

Camellia Ace is just about to reach entrance to the San Diego Bay. Here is a good web camera that will catch her coming into the bay, providing she's quick and can get closer to the camera before the sun goes down. This camera angle is movable just by clicking the screen. So, click the screen around until you have the opening of the bay in view. I think I see a ship coming into view on the horizon. I can see her on radar so I know she is getting close.

These are pics of Camellia Ace. I just found Grand Orion further down the bay heading towards the dock.
You can keep an eye on these web cams which are closer to the places they will dock. http://www.sdmis.org/view/allcams.phtml |
