reporting in from ocean city. If you're thinking of heading out here, I suggest taking the long route i.e. I95, rt 1 in DE then down all the way. Took me about 3hours this morning, left at 6 from Tyson's, the route was clear all the way down. Surprisingly traffic ( cars and people) is light here today. I'm right on the boardwalk and I just don't see that many people.

reporting from VA beach. Great weather, partly cloudy and in the high 80s. Only bad news is my 8.5 months old daugther ate a handful of sand. she though it was apple sauce or something. . damm i have to say i love the bmw nav traffic report and detour assistant. saved me a lot of time with the crazy traffic on the highway.

I just realized that my first summer in the states has pretty much passed now and I didnt go to the beach ONCE! How sad is that?! Luckily my company is taking me to OC for 5 days in the end of September, we have a week full of meetings and workshops there. At least I see the beach but it is a bit cold for sunbathing at that time of the year...
