Is this normal?

I bought my 07 335xi 1 month ago and i have a few concern , when i cold start the car have kind of a loud ticking from the engine ( i think it the lifter ) and when the car idle for like 1 minute the exhuast rattle and it sound like the compression just started on the 2nd head and white compressiion smoke come out. Shouldnd both the exhuast have normal white smoke coming out at cold start at the same time or it does need to idle for a minute 1st?

wastegate rattle, common problem with the n54. if you're under warranty still, you can prob get your wastegates or turbo's replaced.

dont have factory warranty but i have a aftermarket one. Also does it mean my turbo are bad?

Its probably the lifters. There will not be anything coming out from the left exhaust tip unless you have done the golf tee mod.

Sounds like a wastegate issue.

its prob wastegate rattle which really isnt a performance issue just annoying and after a min or two the exhaust opens up and comes out of both pipes....
