http://uk.news.yahoo.com/german-lorr...9.html#JwUTV2I

A mother and her 7 yr old son in their BMW walked away unhurt from this horrible crash, a miracle.....

It's about time that vosa pulled there finger out and put the foreign drivers in prison for tacho graph infringements! They get away with murder, I have spoke to a few Germany drivers who just drive and drive with no breaks!

We are all in the eu but over the pond they don't seem to enforce it so whats the point in the uk doing it! It's a joke.

Because we are the only ones stupid enough, in true Brittish spirt, to play by the rules.

It's quite amazing anyone got out of that mangled BMW and likewise with the Clio, possibly more so given the direct hit it took in a side impact.

It's a shockingly low sentence but I think questions possibly have to be asked about why the guy was doing this. Pressure from customers/management????

A prime example of drivers being put under pressure, Friday morning at work a courier turned up with a delivery, absolutely caned it into our compound jumped out of his van ran in and said please sign this before 12.00pm or I'm in the shit, it was 11.58am ...............

This is how accidents happen, putting drivers under pressure to meet deadlines

Van drivers do get put under pressure the likes of dpd and yodel etc etc all have anywhere from 10-80 drops a day I attend them when the breakdown. Truck drivers should do 4 and half hours then 45 minute break then a further 4 and a half hours then done unless they are doing 10 hours driving twice a week! That Germany driver should lose his license and not get it back. But the other countries don't regulate tacho graph laws like the uk! The uk can't compete with foreigners that driver all hours of the day without breaks! Something else that gets me is maintenance in the uk a truck has an inspection every 6 weeks unless doing more than 30k every 6 weeks then in generally drops to 4 week
