Replacement rear trailing arm too short?

So I had to have my car towed and the driver hooked onto one of the trailing arms and snapped it clean in two. I have the new one and it doesn't reach the mounting holes on both sides, it appears to be too short. I assume something is bent, but I'm not sure. Any way to fix this?
