Walnut Blasting Services around Seattle
Putting a feeler out there to see if anyone around here does walnut blasting on the intake valves. My car is in dire need of this service and I refuse to give in the the stealership rates. I've been contemplating just buying all the equipment and doing it myself but with a new baby time is not easy to come by. If you are willing to travel to fed way, I can have the intake off and ready for blasting if need be. PM me with your rate. Thanks!

All I'm missing is the valve port adapter. I think it costs like $80. I have no need to buy one though as 335d's are few and far between. If you want to buy it I'll do it. Otherwise, DUDMD Tuning in Auburn is getting ready to buy a kit with that adapter and start offering the service soon.

Daniel did an amazing job and very quick. If it wasn't for needing to wait for the cool down and the 45 minute wait to start at a decent hour it would have been about 2.5 hrs. Car runs like a champ! Many thanks.

Oh boy, another SA that doesn't know what they are talking about. It is easy to tell when you need it. While at idle, does it sputter at all almost like a misfire? Do you experience rough starts occasionally? Finally, as Daniel indicated 40k miles. I went 93K and it was not pretty thus the night and day difference.

Put a couple of PM's out, but thought I would revive this thread.
I have an '07 335i with 73k miles and sorely in need of a walnut blast. Please let me know if you have experience performing this service and are up for doing it sometime in the next few weeks. thanks!

Im looking for someone to do this next weekend, I will be doing the oil filter housing gaskets and valve cover gaskets, so it will be apart and ready for blast... In Kirkland
Also, has anyone had success just using just intake valve cleaner? spraying in there, letting it soak and such? |
