So i was raining A LOT over these past few days... but then it stopped the skies were amazing and looked very heavy, so i went out and took some shots!

Equipment used:
Canon 5D Mark 2
Canon 85mm 1.2 L
Canon 24mm-70mm II 2.8 L
Samyang 14mm

***NOTE*** You can use them as wallpapers (link on bottom) but, these images are going into a photo contest, do not use them/claim them as your own work.

I got LUX H8 160, really recommend them, they look great! super bright!!!

Great shots. Never thought I'd envy someone for living in MN, but these backgrounds are just spectacular. And is that the farm Clark Kent was raised at in the background?..

HAHA no, its in the Metro area, some off road in Сhaska/Jordan City area, dont remember the name!

Minnesota has some great places to take pictures!

great quality shots!, I wish you centered the car with the road on the first pic and took a higher shot would've looked pretty cool

They're very good, but since this IS for a competition, hope you don't mind if I'm a bit discerning (as the judges might actually be a bit stricter)...

For one, I probably would've used MLU, some of the shots look like it has a bit of mirror slap.

Second, unless you ARE going for kind of a vintage look, it seems like it needs to be a bit more vivid/contrasted. If it is for print, it'll take even more luminosity out of the picture. But that's just me; I don't really like to do filters... People who appreciate filters might like it, but to each their own.

Third, you might want to straighten out the camera by 1-2 degrees for that pavement shot.
