What steering wheel do I have and will this one fit?

A steering wheel upgrade to a thicker wheel with perforated leather is one of the favorite mods I have done to my other car.

Can anyone confirm which steering wheel I have, and will this M sport wheel fit my airbag? Is the M sport wheel thicker? It sure looks like it.

My car is an E92 with the sports package, and VIN decoder says I have option 249 sports leather steering wheel.

This is the one I am potentially thinking to get:

You have the standard sport wheel. That wheel will definitely fit. It's definitely not an M sport wheel though.

I have the OE M3 steering wheel and I LOVE it, while it doesn't look as cool as the one you posted there it is much meatier in the hand and just feels right in the hand.

OP, if you go this route get an illuminated knob.

You look to have the regular sport wheel. The one you posted subsequently likely would fit, and your existing airbag would likely transfer.
