Stock up on band-aids. It helps to have a set of mechanics gloves to cut down on the slices.

It's pretty easy man. I was a huge newb to all of this stuff too but this mod just require a little patience. It took me maybe a half hour in total to do it. It always helps to have someone with small hands with you too.

For whatever reason the v4's were easier to get in the socket then the v3's. Both fit fine just need a little patients getting them in. I was able to get them installed through the engine comp. Just need to remove the air cleaner to get at the one on the drivers side

the new design of the LUX H8 V4's makes it much easier to install them in the socket

yaa tell that to my knuckles.. also from my readings i see the 335d is probably the smallest opening compared to the 335i

well anyway.. after about an hour struggling with it for an hour i got it in..

just last question:

how much do i turn once i get it back into the socket? i was able to only tighten so it stays on.. the old one turned about 90 degrees to loosen up but i was only able to tighten about 25degrees.. the good thing is they look good! but just concerned about it falling off or something

its only about a 1/4 turn. They will twist and be snug, but they dont snap or lock into place.
