Several coats of Duplicolor Metalcast in smoke color. It's a candy apple (tinted clear) paint that is designed to give polished/chrome parts the "black chrome" appearance.

I have seen some black carbon design badges available - if you like that. Might match nicely with the is dashboard design too.

I tried two different replicas (one was from ebay for about that price), and I wasn't happy with either of them. The ebay one was bad in every way imaginable. I eventually went with OEM and couldn't be happier. Just my 2 cents/experience. Good luck with your search.

I would say the Ebay one feels pretty cheap. I don't expect to get more than a year or two out of it before I replace it again.

Best place for oem performance lip? I'd rather buy from vendors on the site... also not sure on pulling the trigger, not sure on CF on my black e92.

getbmwparts is a sponsor, I believe, and it's on their site for about $350.

I hear what you're saying about the CF. It took me a long time to pull the trigger for a similar reason - I have LMB and nothing else CF on the car.

You can also go with paint matched spoiler. It's cheap (<$100 on eBay) and people on here swear by it.

Hi all! So just got my car! It took me a while to fix it the way I wanted it and register it. But all is good now! So I repainted the roof white, refinished one of the wheels, took all the crap vinyl/plastidip, added 4 new Michelin pilot sport 4 tires, oil change, brake flush, and new battery. I also had my mechanic make sure everything is in great working order because it was an auction car, and so far it is perfect the engine and everything else under the car is absolutely perfect. I even got a cpe charge pipe and high flow cats which is a nice surprise! I already went through 2 fill ups of gas in 3 days haha I can't stop driving this marvelous car! Here are some pictures
