Any modern tire place should be able to install TPMS adapters. BMW shops will prob. sub out to local tire shop anyways. At least that's what mine does. Big O Tires two shops down.

Sounds like anywhere from 34-38 up front and 36-40 out back. Currently I am running 36 front-40 back.

The stock pressures for the 18s are 32 front-38 rear. I just bumped those up a bit to retain some sidewall stiffness since I lost some width (sidewall).

I'm running 42/45psi... on 245/275s
Max "cold" psi is 50 on these tires so I'll deal with a bit rougher ride to offer my tires more protection

I woulod buy the TPMS from Gary at The Tire Rack, and then have the sensors, tires, wheels all done up at a Tire Rack Recommended Installer. Make certain that they have a Road force balancer and understand what a torque wrench is.

If they come near your car with an Airgun when installing the wheels stop them dead... Airtools are fine for removing lugs, but install should all be by hand if they are a worth a shit shop.

My .02 anyway. It's exactly what I did with my DPE's and it worked great.

check your stock valve stem. if it's the ordinary rubber one.. u dont need TPM because it's conjuct w/ your ABS.

if your vavle stem is the metal ones with TPMS caps.. you must get tpm sensors for your aftermarkets..

It is on page 74 of the owners manual.

To paraphrase:
1) Start car (but do not drive)
2) Scroll through options on blinker until you get to RESET with the little TPMS icon
3) Press in on the side button (it should say active reset now)
4) Press and hold side button for about 5 seconds, or until is changes to RESETTING
5) Start driving, and keep driving until the TPMS warning indicator goes out

Oh, and make sure your tires are inflated to the PSI you want before you do all this

WoW, there are a lot of scary ideas out there! Don't use the stock info on the door jam sticker (except to apply that info to this conversion chart.) don't use chalk, don't go 10% under max. load. don't just guess.
