A lot of companies out there including some of the more well known use generic maps, I'm guessing your calling it garbage from personal experience? or are you just calling it garbage cause it's a generic map? I've not had a single issue and it produced a nice healthy 330bhp on the dyno with a nice power and torque curve. |

Most people use Quantum they are reliable and one of the largest off the shelf remappers in the world - but most tuners will not tell you they are using this supplier and dress it up as their own.

I think this is a well sorted motor and the mileage is nothing on these engines. Good luck with the sale, I myself have just upgraded to a X3 35d(pretty much same engine) from a FBO 335i and it’s brilliant 👍

Thanks everyone for your input negative and positive it all helps the sale, I would just like to add a few points that i may have missed
The car needs nothing it is ready to drive away has four good tyres fitted Michelin on the back Yokohama on the front all wheels have also been checked and there are no cracks. Red boost hose has been replaced with a upgraded forge motorsport item. High beam assist has also been retrofitted and coded correctly nice little feature to have. Private plate has now been removed and the original reg NU07 HHF has been put back on the car All sensible offers will be considered as the car is not being used and it's a shame to see it just sitting there. |
