Thanks bro. They're no name brand. I had them custom built for me. Basically they're forged 3 piece 19" w/machined aluminum concave mesh face, and staggered chrome lips. 19x8.5 front and 19x10 rear.

Just want to say I had the pleasure of detailing a car with paintwork by MAC and WOW is all I can say. This is the first time seeing their work in person and I was amazed by the paint quality, no sanding marks, no runs, it looked factory. Awesome work guys!

Excellent question.
This is the classic "catch-22".
The car in question (GT-R) was, in fact, painted almost 3 weeks prior to the installation of the film. We do bake our finishes in our climate controlled Lutro paint booths. This client insisted the car be wrapped before ever leaving the shop- heck, with a three stage lamborghini pearl who could blame him!

We have been experimenting with this for years- it's truly a double edged sword. We've had customers have their front end painted and decide to wait the two months, only in that time to get sand blasted behind a truck on the highway and decide to shoot the car again before immediately applying the PPF.

In theory, you are correct, as per the PPF manufacturers you should wait for the paint to propery cure. The advantages of doing it immediately are obvious. The disadvantages, well, so far our clients nor us have experienced any!

hahaha if it wasn't for the coral red interior, i'd say what the hell. Actually, right now im trying to put together a good set of CSLs. My hope is that i can turn it into a winter project and have a custom refinished set in a soaking wet glossy black.

Also Derek, I had a friend ask me about powdercoating. Its a 2008 Silver Jeep Wrangler Sahara. I'm pretty sure he wants the factory 5-spokes done in matte black.
I told him i new the right guys for the job. Guess who I told him to call....
