Clutch recommendations

Good day all.

Been lurking on here for a while but now have to ask for advice.

I have a 2011 E90 335i xdrive (Canadian import) that currently has MHD stage 2 tune on it and a LWFW and unknown clutch (I think it is stock) car drives fine and clutch holds power but the shatter at idle is a bridge too far. Looking at going back to stock DMFW (LUK 21207640733) but not sure what clutch to add.

Car is a daily driver and just want it reliable and quiet.

So what are the recommendations for the clutch and what are the while you are in there parts?

Thanks

OEM clutches are made by Sach and Luk. If you are going back to stock on the DM Flywheel then I would stay with Luk. That's is my plan when I need to replace my clutch assembly on my 11' E90 335ix (currently only 130K-ish on original).

look for 335is/550 clutch parts, can hold the power fine and have good manners too. The while you are in there stuff could be check throw out bearing, clutch fork pivot, check seals, slave cylinder. Trans front seal seems an uncommon problem but is relatively easy to replace. Rear main is always the tough one. Everyone says not to touch it if its not leaking, but I think age and mileage also have to be considered because after a full clutch job, you will not be back in there for a long time, theoretically. Also check shifter bushings and pivot/input shaft. Good time to upgrade to poly shifter carrier bushings. Of course, you'll be looking at guibo and center drive shaft bearing too. Definitely a good time to address a lot of stuff, depending on mileage and your intent with ownership of the car.
