Yes, those are correct PT-Can wires. I’m pretty sure that can will be also there (green one).

I don't have a green wire with a red stripe, only green and white. Is that the one in the middle?

It has to be green with red. You can check electric diagram that I have pasted on page no. 4.

It worked with the green and white one, mine doesn't have any green/red wires
Thank you so much man, can't believe how easy it was, my rack came with all the plugs so I used terminal blocks to extend the supply cables which act as fuses already haha, but still fitted a flat 100a fuse just in case
I used an E93 rack on my E92 and there's hardly any difference in 'hardness' of the steering with no coding whatsoever, maybe 5-10% lighter, it goes slightly harder after half a turn which makes it feel like a hydraulic steering haha, couldn't ask for anything better, hope it can take all drift days beating that it's gonna get lmao
So for anyone debating this, stop debating, it's very easy and soo worth not having to deal with the hydraulic crap anymore

So I'm looking to do this to my 2011 E92 335i RWD LHD. I deleted my power steering with a block off plate since I'm running a S55 oil pan setup so I want electric steering.

Now the racks have a couple of part numbers but I shouldn't have a problem finding them. Is there a premade wiring loom for E90 or Z4 I can use and slightly modify the power wire for the B+ or I have to make my own?

I understand the CAN wires but I want a clean setup for the power wire. Is there any other pictures of the power wire setup? Is there a way to use a regular fuse instead of a 100a flat fuse? I'm new to wiring so any help would be appreciated for the power setup.

So to be honest I have my wiring from this conversion laying in my garage, but it will be expensive I think to send you that from Poland to US. If you want, just ping me in DM, and I can guide you through the wiring creation process.

Hi, try to perform steering angle sensor calibration first, before EPS calibration. Have you coded everything and recoded rest of the modules?

F30 eps & e90 eps

Many people criticize the F30's steering, the feedback from the road is null and is too light. Will the E90 with EPS be like the F30? Has anyone driven both?

Right now I’m driving 435i, and to be honest it’s a little bit accommodation to understeer feeling, but overall it’s okay. Definitely hydraulic system in e90 is heavier by nature. But overall when you are not racing car and using car normally and sometimes during spirited driving everything will be completely fine. And I’m talking from track experience because I’m also tracking cars

I have retrofitted the EPS rack taken from an E84 X1 which fits my E92 since they share the same steering column and spline. The X1 came with EPS in the US, so I got a mint condition low low-mileage rack with tie rods attached. Made the wiring loom for power, ground, can high/low, and wake-up can. For N55 on the E92, the wake-up CAN goes to connector 3 on the DME on pin 46 if you need to trace it. Used OEM CAN wires I had lying around with plenty of length. There is a rubber boot on the middle loom on the fuse box where you can add extra wires, like OEM, to make it watertight.

No coding needed, but in the future, I will code it with VIN and FSC since it's a 09/2010 335i production date.

Is it possible for these racks to work in a vehicle without CANbus? I have an X3 rack that looks like I can make fit my '51 Ford Panel with Crown Vic front suspension. Thanks!
