I'll give it another shot. Realistically I don't really care as I don't see the need to ever disable it. Even if the FLA malfunctions, I can always just double click the stock and override it. Currently I'm more focused on trying to get the compass working. I made a post on another thread, but I'm leaning towards the fact that I didn't populate pin 10 (solid brown, unterminated on FZD side) on the mirror harness w/ the retrofit cable, as mine already had pin 10 populated. I tried hitting the little button on the mirror but no luck either. Do I need to code for the compass or should that just work automagically?

Edit: Apparently the brown wire/pin 10 is just KL.31 ground, so not repinning it should be fine

if compass (letters) light up, perform recalibration cycle.

if not - you may need to continue research wiring diagrams

You don't need iDrive.

My car is xenon + non-iDrive and I successfully retrofittted FLA.

I was able to retrofit FLA. Test drove today ... I can see the little A letter on KOMBI ... also the high beam (blue sign) shows up when dark and no cars ahead but wont activate the high beam. I tested the high beam and they work.

Not sure what is missing. Any clue?

I just finished the retrofit without any problems whatsoever.

It's an E90 325i 05' with the FRM1 module. At first, when I followed the coding instructions, it seemed not to be working, as I was not getting the "A" by the high beam icon, so reseted the mentioned modules and left this as is, as I was short on time to continue working on this. I just thought it was due to the FRM1, and it would work after adding the FRM2/3 to the car.

However, on my way back home late in the evening, I switched on the high beams, and, out of the sudden, they turned off just before I saw a car approaching from the front. Accordingly, switched back on right after passing by the incoming car.

No changes on the cluster, just the regular high-beam icon turning on and off.
I have no clue whether it is indeed due to the FRM, but I cannot find any reason behind this being that way.

I am absolutely fine with it as long as it works, though.

EDIT: I have xenon lights. I have the FLA option within the CCC functions; however, I cannot activate it from the menu - it automatically switches off once I click it.
EDIT2: I am yet to figure out if I need to push the high beam lever once or twice in order to activate it.
