ipod interface, no nav. on 09 E90

I just got my '09 E90, it has the ipod/usb adapter. I used to have the 1st gen. of the Ipod/bmw interface on my '04 E46 and when I would turn off the radio and later turn on the radio and the Ipod, my music would pick up from were I had turned off the Ipod. Now once I turn off the radio and I later turn the radio on, the Ipod starts from my 1st play list.

is there a setting I need to adjust?? or is it my Ipod the problem?????

hmmmm... I do not have that issue at all. But, I do have the idrive. Mine starts off where I left it.

Your iPod needs to be 4th generation or newer to work properly and you didn't identify which iPod you have.

thanks for the info., I have a 3 gen. Ipod, I was told that any Ipod would work......I guess I know have an excuse to buy a new Ipod...!!!!
