Where is the radio volume setting display?

Does anyone know if there's a display that shows the current volume setting? I tuned to a sat radio station that wasn't playing anything, and I had turned the volume setting way up to try to hear something. Since I don't know where the volume display is, I couldn't tell what it was set at. Once I switched over to different station, it practically blew my speakers out.

I have iDrive. Apologies in advance if this is somewhere in the owner's manual -- I didn't find it. Thanks.

Well through infinite wisdom they don't feel we need a volume level display. And thus there isn't one.

Thanks for confirming that -- it's a pretty bad design oversight in my view. There's certainly room for adding a two-digit numeric volume indicator in the status bar at the bottom of the iDrive display. Hope it gets fixed in a future version.
