312x24 discs vs 300x24

Would 312x24 front discs with matching pads fit 16" wheels and stock calipers?

It's a .4" size increase.

I ordered SP10.1260.R121 brakes from ecs tuning.
Would stock calipers work or do I need to upgrade?

non sport pack included 16s thru all the years so yes itll fit.

Calipers should be the same but youll need the carriers(brackets) to match the rotor size.

with all your other mods listed Im surprised you dont switch to 17 minimum wheel size and pick up 330 fronts(which use the same caliper)

Thank you, so the stock calipers will definitely fit. I just need new carriers?

And yes I was thinking about upgrading to 330i but I like the 16" wheels in the winter and extra rubber when the potholes open up. The stock brakes are definitely a major weak spot. My brother's 330i definitely feels a lot better in that regard.

And are you sure the 330i has the same caliper as mine? It seems to be bigger. Unless the discs make that effect?

330 brakes are 330mm in diameter. IIRC all the 300/312/330 calipers are the same, just brackets, rotors and maybe pads are different. The 335 and M3 have the different style calipers.

I run 18s for winter even up here in Canada where roads are generally worse. Just gotta keep your eyes peeled and hands on the wheel

Ahhh I just realized how much this the caliper mounts are. So I think I'll just cancel the front kit.

330i rotors are 330mm. 312mm will fit behind 16" wheels and 330mm will fit behind 17" wheels. 300, 312 and 330mm rotors can use the same caliper and pads. Buying used calipers might be the best way to get the carriers that you need.
