Run Flats on the Front and Non Run Flats on the rear on my 06 330i
Hi,
I am in the market for 2 rear tires for my 06 e90 330i. The car came with RF Tires OEM on all 4. I already have the 2 new bridgestone Driveguard RFT for the front. Do I need to go with RFT's for the rear too or can I do non RFT's too? What issues would I face by mixing RFT's on front and non RFT's in the rear?I was thinking of Continental ExtremeContact Sport (Summer tire) for the rear. Request your valuable suggestions. |

You can go either way, I just went RFT -> Non run flats all round on my 09 330i - wow what a difference it makes. The ride is actually decent now. I dont have to dive out of the way of a pebble!
In terms of are you allowed - i dont see a reason why. So long as you are aware the car will handle differently as compare to with 4 of the same tyre but if you are aware of it then it wont suprise you when it shows an odd kick here or there in a corner. |
Appreciate
