Jb4 335 guage sweep & no power gain problem. 2009 bmw 335xi

Hey all. I installed jb4 last night and I'm having a couple problems.

The first problem is that the guages will sweep but only in second gear around 80kmph while WOT. I tried electrical taping the ground wire because sometimes they have some play but it's still doing it. Anybody ever have this problem and know of a fix?

The other question I have is that I'm not really noticing any power gains between map 0 & map 1/5. I haven't gotten around to actually putting in 94 yet because I'm still at half a tank. Could the fact that I have 91 octane still in the tank be the reason I'm not seeing any gains?

Thanks
- Gavin

I am having a similar issue with my JB4, at WOT and full send, they gauges sweep (mph, and rpm) and then total power loss, as soon as I let off the gas the car returns to normal. I assumed it was fuel cut since I went w/ pure600s and FBO minus CATS.

For the power of the jb4. It took a while before my map 5 got around to finally giving me some HPs. I had to drive it hard for a abit.

The sweep indicates the JB4 has just been initialized after getting power or being restarted.

That in turn hits to some form of disconnection and reconnection during driving, especially if you do see the initial sweep at startup.

Clean your ground wire and the wire on the JB4 and recheck all connections. Seems as though one might be loose.
