I just cracked my water pump after 25k miles of replacing it. It prevent much just leaks all of the water in the system after any distance of driving. The possibility of a cast water pump sounds amazing to me

There's so many reports of these things lasting/failing at high/low age/mileage...then add the variety of conditions the cars are used in...there's no way to come up with some sort of guesstimate as to when they will fail, or what the failure will be.
I've seen reports vary from 20k to over 100k. Some people say 2 years, others report much longer. |
